My main goal in life is to know God—the magnificent Being who created me and loves me more than I will ever be able to comprehend. There is so much to learn that it is a never-ending process, but the lessons have been exciting and rewarding.  Among other things I have learned that God is present in my life every day whether or not I feel Him; in the most difficult situations, He is as comforting as a cooling breeze on a sweltering day; and if I am serious about hearing Him, He will speak to me in my heart. (I haven’t heard Him audibly yet.)

My desire is to share some life-changing truths with you.

• I want you to see how wonderful God is. — “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.” Psalm 145:3

• I want you to grasp how much God loves you. — “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken . . .”  Isaiah 54:10a

• I want you to understand how much God desires you to know Him. — In Isaiah 43:10a, God says to His people, “You are . . . my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.”

I am not a theologian, but I do love the Lord.

I am not a Bible scholar, but I do love the Word.

So if you will permit me, I will share with you some bits of my journey with the Lord, because He is just too good to keep to myself.
